MCC’s Governing Board has appointed the following persons to serve on the Governing Board Nominating Committee from March 2012 through General Conference 2013 in Chicago, Illinois (USA).

Charge to the Governing Board Nominating Committee per UFMCC Bylaws Article V.C.3.d:

“GOVERNING BOARD NOMINATING COMMITTEE: The Governing Board shall appoint a  Governing Board
Nominating Committee of three (3) persons. The Moderator shall  serve as a consultant to the Governing Board
Nominating Committee. The responsibility  of the Governing Board Nominating Committee is to actively solicit
candidates for the  position, review any and all applications, and select qualified candidates. The qualified
candidates shall be presented to the General Conference for election.” 

The members of the GOVERNING BOARD NOMINATING COMMITTEE are: 

Cathy Alexander lives in Arlington, Virginia, is currently serving as a ministry intern at MCC Washington DC, and recently participated in the MCC Leadership Mentoring Retreat. She is a member of MCC of Northern Virginia NOVA in Fairfax, Virginia, and anticipates graduating from Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington, DC, in May 2012.  Her time at seminary included serving on Dean search and Faculty search committees  and as a student member of the school reaccreditation team. As a Director in a small DCbased consulting firm, her duties include goal setting and implementation of short- and long-term  projects in a variety of organizations. She also assists with conducting interviews of new firm prospects  and provides resume evaluation and feedback. Her spiritual gifts include encouragement, music and teaching.

Rusty Hall has been a member of MCC Knoxville, Tennessee, since 2007 and has been  serving as a deacon there since 2008. He also helps facilitate MCC Knoxville’s Young Adult  Group.

Mr. Hall has 13+ years of corporate and commercial recruiting and human  resource experience in the commercial and government business sectors.

Reverend Kathy Dearlove is pastor of River of Life MCC, Dorchester, UK, and  Interim Pastor of MCC Brighton, Brighton, UK. She also serves on the Network Team for Europe. Over a history of 30 years with MCC, Catherine has served in various positions  from Board Member to District Lay Rep, Worship Team to Lay Delegate. Her current  position sees her serving on the Independent Advisory Group to Dorset Police, the Forum for Equality and Diversity for Dorset County Council, Vice Chair of Churches Together in Dorchester and Coordinator of the One World Festival. As part of Catherine’s secular work, she has been a Manager and Employer and has had extensive experience of human resources and interviewing staff.
